Dr. J.T. Young is a practical theologian based in St. Louis, MO. He is currently the Executive Pastor at The Well UMC and teaches religion at Lindenwood University.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Lindenwood University, a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Eden Theological Seminary.

His first book, Extremists for Love: A Theological Introduction to the Struggle for Racial Justice in America, was published by Wipf and Stock Publishers in August 2024, and his second book is currently under contract with Cascade Books.
